’62 Corvette convertible ‘survivor’

1962 Corvette in Honduras Maroon with black interior. This rare, unmodified beauty has been in the same family in Arizona since 1973. Sold originally in San Dimas, California,  this is a 2 owner example that is completely original with the exception of a   respray, in the original color,  some 20 years ago.  All drive train components are original, numbers match and correctly date coded. The power train is the 327, 250hp, recently rebuilt,  coupled to the original 3 speed, manual transmission.

This is a soft top only Corvette with a black canvas  top. All brightwork, including bumpers, windshield stainless and all garnish moldings are original to the car and have never been restored.  The carpet and door panels are also original and the seats have been reupholstered at some point in its life.  The panel fit on the body is excellent and the paint finish is superb. The car runs and drives very well.  The radiator and surge tank have recenly been replaced with new, correct Harrison, date coded components with the original parts retained for posterity.

The bottom of the fiberglass tub is still in the orignal raw natural fiberglass, having never been damaged or painted.

This Corvette has never before been offered for sale, publicly.
